The “Vienna Klimt Ensemble“ features Walter Auer and other members of  the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra. A Chamber Concert shows the ensemble in wonderful atmosphere and incomparable intensity. After the concert you get the chance of talking to the artists over a glass of wine.

In varied and amusing 90 minutes you gain an insight into the world of great composers and their joys and woes. Walter Auer and his wife Julia (also a flute player) play and talk in their Lecture Concert „Living a dream in Vienna“ about the life, the successes and failures of the most important composers in Vienna, the world`s Capital of Music.

Biography

Walter Auer is soloflutist of the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra and the Viennese State Opera. After finishing his studies at the famous „Mozarteum“ in Salzburg and the Academy of Orchestras in Berlin he started his career in Germany before being asked to join the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra. He is a much sought after artist at festivals and at concerts which take him to the US, Asia and all over Europe.
